Production Manager

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Production Manager. Production of our products has grown rapidly and you'll be able to confidently lead all of our production as we continue to grow. You'll make a big difference as you lead and direct end-to-end production to fill orders on time, ensure quality and safety, increase production capacity by implementing new equipment and processes, hire "A" players, and create the right mix of a fun but productive team work environment. You'll be able to consistently keep the production output schedule by planning ahead, making contingency plans, and being adaptable in responding to unexpected events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed production schedules to meet orders; ensure supplies are adequate & create employee schedules to meet production needs. Ensure all products are shipped on time, within quality standards.

  • Hire, train, mentor, inspire, and improve capabilities of production, supply chain, & shipping teams.

  • Recommend and implement purchasing of new equipment to improve production capacity. Monitor and maintain production equipment and quickly resolve emerging issues.

  • Recommend and implement ways to reduce supply and production costs.

  • Track product quality and develop processes to improve/meet production quality standards.

  • Observe 'Good Manufacturing Practices' (GMP), Equal Employment policies. Implement and maintain health and safety precautions.

  • Maintain appropriate records; collaborate with leadership team and report to the CEO.

Skills

  • Proven experience as production director

  • Deep knowledge of production management

  • Willingness and ability to step in and help with production, supply, or shipping when necessary

  • Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations

  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts

  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics

  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software

  • Outstanding communication ability

  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

  • BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred


 

Natural Cosmetics Production Worker/Associate

Overview

Our natural and organic products are manufactured locally, in Lindon UT. Those who use our products see how it contributes to a healthy, clean life. Growth continues and has increased over the past several years and we have expanded into new facilities. We're looking for optimistic, team oriented, hard-working production workers to assist in the manufacturing process. A Production Associate is part of a team of associates who collaborate together on the production process. Associates have the opportunity to learn different production processes. Daily tasks on the production line are of a assembly line type with the end result being a product produced within specific parameters. Responsibilities include working well with others, keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines.

To be successful you will need to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding production worker should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrive to work on time, daily prepared to work.

  • Perform daily work assignment.

  • Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.

  • Follow production guidelines and operate production line equipment.

  • Compare final product to the prototype and report/fix any differences.

  • Package products for shipment.

  • Follow all health and safety standards.

  • Working on the production line and meeting production targets.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience working in a factory or operating manufacturing machinery is beneficial.

  • Able to work as part of a team.

  • Strong work ethic.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Basic math skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds occasionally as needed.

  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time as needed.

  • Have good manual dexterity.

  • Have good eye - hand coordination
