Today we are hopping on the social media trend and sharing our Ins and Outs for 2024. We hope this inspires you as you make goals fo the new year ahead. After all, many great speakers have said goals without plans are just wishes.

Invest in yourself.

 Drink more water.
Did you know your skin is the largest organ in your body yet is the last to receive water? If you are dehydrated, your skin will be the first to show you. Make water a part of your daily routine in 2024 for a healthy, glowing complexion.
Staying active.
Look good, feel good. Go for a hot girl walk. Sign up for that workout class. Lift weights at the gym. Try yoga. Stretch the body. Find a way to move every day.
Listen to your body.
Rethink what is going into your body and how it makes you feel. The mind-gut connection is real. Prioritize gut health. Eat slowly and savor meals. It's amazing what happens when we slow down and take the time to connect with our bodies.
Regulate the nervous system.
Trauma can wreck havoc on our bodies, especially the nervous system. Here are some scientifically-proven ways to regulate the nervous system: spend time outside, hug someone you love, try guided meditations, practice mindfulness, set boundaries without apologies, and learn how to stimulate the vagus nerve. 
 

Outs:

Negative self-talk.
Bestie, it's time to be kinder to ourselves. Think about it: If you wouldn't say it to a close friend or family member, why would you say it to yourself? 2024 is the year we love ourselves and become our own best friend. 
Comparing yourself to others.
2024 is the year we stop comparing ourselves to others in person and online. Social media is fake and full of filters. Next time you find yourself mindlessly scrolling and comparing yourself, set the phone down and do something else instead.
Saying yes to everything.
As women, we have a habit of taking on too much and feeling like we can't say no. This year, practice saying no sometimes and don't feel the need to over explain either. You will feel so much better and we promise they won't be mad at you.
Setting unrealistic New Years goals. 
It's impossible to do a million things in one year. 2024 is the year we give ourselves permission to take our time, give ourselves grace when we fall and pick ourselves back up one goal at a time. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
Eating out more than necessary.
Learn a few recipes this year. Cook a new meal or bake a tasty treat. Go to local farmers markets. Learn about quality ingredients and their benefits for your body. Not only will you look and feel better, but your wallet will thank you too.
