Tips
For Yellow/Olive skin tones, choose from our Warm Shades.
For Pink/Red skin tones, use our Cool Shades.
Neutral Shades work well to tone down extra red, sensitive or ruddy skin tones & for many Caucasian skin types.
For lighter coverage, use a Powder or Kabouki Brush.
For heavier coverage, first apply our Soft-Focus Facial Primer or Organic Facial Serum. Let product absorb for a few minutes, then use a puff and apply Pressed Foundation in layers.
Try a few Pressed Foundation Samples to make sure you get your correct shade. The first step is figuring out your undertone. Warm undertones are more yellow, while cool tones are more pink, neutral is in the middle. Please refer to the photo with arm swatches to help you decide. I used this on my face like a bronzer cause I wanted more natural look that wasnt too shiny or deep. Looks amazing!
This is very subtle, not high coverage. It is pressed down very tight so you really gotta work it on the brush. I enjoy the subtle nature of this, perfect for a clean look. Also went goes very well over top of the tinted mineral spf! Love!

I couldn't get it on my face! I tried using my hands, a brush, and a sponge. The product was dried into the container.

Very happy that you have samples. Although I love the colors my skin is apparently too dry for the powder. I've instead been using as an eye primer and it's awesome.

A friend of mine has been looking for healthier foundation and I thought she would like this. And she did, she liked it so much, she ordered the full size. I like that Lauren Brooke has sample sizes to get the right shade.

It’s difficult to use bc the pressed powder won’t rub off onto my makeup pad. I tried scraping with my nail, which worked a bit, so I was able to get a tiny amount onto my makeup pad but not enough to get a good idea of the product

Love the powder! It is light on the skin and does not irritate. I put it over the concealer.

I ordered 5 different colors. The powder is nice and lightweight and gives a good amount of coverage, thought its not heavy
Love the pressed foundation as well as the powder one which I also have. It has goes on light but has good coverage and no weighed down feeling. I highly recommend both.
The powders are great, but what I love is the Tinted Mineral Sunscreen! Goes on beautifully and lasts all day.
I really like this foundation! I love that its organic! The color is good. It goes on easily - I use a makeup brush. I use it more like a powder over liquid foundation. My skin looks smooth and flawless with it! Ive ordered it over and over again!
Love it! I never thought I liked pressed foundation until I tried Lauren Brookes. Especially applied with the kabouki brush, this foundation is marvelous! I love it just a much as the creme. I will probably use the creme during the colder months when my skin tends to get drier. I am 46 years old and the pressed foundation provides beautiful coverage on my aging, yet still sometimes oily skin!
Good coverage but a little hard to apply. The first sample I got was impossible to scrape out of the little container it came in. The seller was very good about sending me another one right away. Its better, but still kind of hard to get onto a makeup sponge. But it has good coverage, doesnt look cakey, and feels extremely light. The sample is going to last a very long time, but when its finally done Ill definitely buy the full size which will probably last the rest of my life.
Better than expected! I ordered a sample of the pressed foundation, not sure if it would hold up through the day, and I was pleasantly surprised! It held up, plus it didnt leave me with a caked on feeling that my previous foundation did. I came back to order the full size!
