Lip Liner Pencil

I have purchased several lip pencils from you and at least 2 of them, this one included, have a design flaw. When I sharpen the pencil, an entire chunk of product falls out. The other pencil is Hydrangea that this happens to. The colors are lovely, but I’ve lost most of the pencil due to this issue.

The color was so light it did not make for a liner for me at all. Also the color was not my favorite. I would not buy it again or even use it.

Didn't show any color when I first got it. I sharpened to remove top layer in hopes it would mark my lip. Unfortunately the pencil broke (actually fell out of the mold) I sharpened again a little bit just to see if it put color on me. It broke again. I sadly think the pencil is a waste of money.

Perfect color Great customer service, because I mistakenly thought it was a twist up pencil andinstead it needs a sharpener.

Not able to use it because it apparently requires a special sharpener which I do not have and which was out of stock and not available to purchase at the time I purchased the pencil. If a lip liner pencil is going to require something OTHER THAN a regular pencil sharpener and Lauren Brooke Co. does not think they need to keep that in stock and available at all times you would be wrong and that is a very poor business model. Lip liner pencils if not scroll up (which is what yours should be) constantly need sharpening so there was no point to my starting to use the product. I took a chance and ordered the lip liner pencil by itself thinking surely a regular cosmetic sharpener could be used once I purchased it. When I learned that was not true I could not believe it definitely required a special sharpener sold by Lauren Brook Co. which was not available. So don't send an email asking me what I think of the lip liner pencil I purchased from you. I think I basically got screwed into purchasing product I can't use. What a business model!

Very disappointed-the soft part of the line was already cracked- I tried it anyway, as to not waste it- of course if broke, so I sharpened it - I could see down into the pencil - [made of plastic- for Higher Quality, pls use wood ] but it was cracked INSIDE the pencil- no amount of sharpening would fix this- I wasted my money on a 'broken' item.

Nice color, goes on smoothly but not a fan of having to sharpen instead of automatic, since it breaks in sharpener sometimes and the plastic is sharp in some places which hurt.

I've been a long, long, long time customer (since 2007!) and I recently purchased three of the lip liners to try out because I liked the colors... I just went to try them for the very first time and the tips broke off!! I had to pick the pieces of them off of the floor and tried to reuse them but that didn't work! I wasn't even pressing hard when applying them. So I just wasted the money on purchasing them.

I really love this brand and all products I have tried so far, and I was overjoyed to finally find a lipliner with ingredients I can justify using. However, the description did not specify that the packaging is plastic. It says it is 100% recyclable and needs to be sharpened, so I assumed it was wood as lip liners tend to be. I don't have a sharpener for this and upon looking at the reviews, I find out the pencil is made of recycled plastic - ick. I do not love the idea of plastic shavings in my product or unnecessary plastic, as I try to reduce the plastic I use wherever I can. I love the product so much and my wish is that a non-plastic option is offered in the future. For the pencil I have so far I think I will have to try to fish out the rest of the pencil perhaps and I am disappointed about that.

Sadly the color is more grey than brown, and its hard to apply, its not very soft

The "filling" of the lip liner seems nice enough, but I am disappointed that it is surrounded by plastic. I thought it would be an actual pencil that is sharpened with a metal sharpener. It is instead a twist-up style. So I'm still looking for a lip liner that has good ingredients and also comes as an eco-friendly and sustainable device.

There are only TWO items from this company I don't care for and this is one of the two. I'm actually looking to see if I can return it

Long lasting

I have become allergic to lipstick products so I was excited to find an all natural lip pencil to try. I got a darker color because I like to see the lip liner on my lip. I was disappointed at the color and also how difficult it is to see much color once the liner is applied. I am not sure why it is difficult to apply and why there is the lack of color. I do appreciate it is all natural but not sure I will order again once it is gone.

I love the concept of the all natural ingredients. The only thing that I was a little disappointed about was the shade. Espresso looks like a brown in the picture and when I received it and put it on, it looks very grey.



I would suggest getting samples because I was disappointed when I received it. Will try again next time.

I purchased a neutral color and this one was perfect. Goes on smooth without pulling the lip.

I got the vintage wine I was concerned it might be too dark but it's not

Love this lip liner! Goes on smooth, good pigment and has a satin look and feel. I feel confident using these products knowing they are clean and non-toxic.
